The story behind Profit Blueprint Hub — and why it was built by a business owner, not a tech company.
The Origin Story
I didn't plan to be an AI educator. A health crisis made that decision for me.
I left school early because I didn't like it. I went to trade school as an apprentice electrician and just scraped through. That's where I started.
From there I moved into security — first as a technician, then as a business owner. I built my first electronic security company in Adelaide from scratch. I grew it, got it running well, then moved to country South Australia and built a second business locally. Then I bought a third — another Adelaide operation — and found myself running two businesses across two locations, managing staff remotely, keeping everything moving.
I wasn't a tech guy. I wasn't an educator. I was a tradie who'd become a business owner through hard work, stubbornness, and a willingness to figure things out as I went.
Then everything stopped.
Health issues forced surgery and eight months of part-time recovery. While I was away from the business, I lost five staff members. Five. The businesses I'd spent decades building were suddenly running on skeleton crews with me not well enough to step back in full-time.
I had to pivot. Not because I wanted to. Because I had to.
I started immersing myself in AI — every article, every training course, every tool I could get my hands on. Not out of curiosity. Out of necessity. And I didn't just learn it theoretically. I deployed it directly into my own businesses while I was still recovering.
Here's what I built and implemented on live, real security businesses under real commercial pressure:

It worked. The businesses kept running. And I realised something: every small business owner in Australia with staff, cash flow pressure, and no backup is one crisis away from what I went through. AI is not a luxury for businesses like that. It's the resilience layer most of them don't know they need — until they need it.
Profit Blueprint Hub is the system I had to build for myself, made available to every other business owner who doesn't want to wait for a crisis to discover what AI can do for theirs.
